2024 - 2025 Grants
Mr. Popovich received a grant of $382.87 to purchase medical suturing practice kits for students in his 12th Anatomy & Physiology, Science class. This will allow students to learn hands on practical application of how to do several different sutures. These materials are reusable for use in future classes.
Ms. Byrne and Mr. Anastas received a grant of $342.80 to publish 4 copies of a cross-curricular, research based book to celebrate Black History Month. This book is written and illustrated by the 2023 - 2024 class of Honors English and World Geography and will be used to support future class instruction.
2023 - 2024 Grants
Mr. Halter and Ms. Roos received a $300 grant on behalf of the Instructional Coaching Department to provide breakfast and lunch items for teachers while attending optional Professional Development workshops.
Ms. Marron on behalf of the Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) team received a $250 grant to purchase gift cards from local businesses for bi-weekly prize drawings to support positive behavior in the student body.
2022 - 2023 Grants
Mr. Halter received a $300 grant to purchase breakfast and lunch Items as incentives for teachers to attend instructional workshops during the school day. Food increases attendance as they must give up lunch or plan periods to attend the professional development workshop.
Mr. Stickney received a $475 grant to purchase enrichment items including Problem solving Activities, Rubik's Books and Electronic Cubes, Tetris Book and Games, Escape Room Games.
Mr. Green received a $200 grant to sponsor a Civil War day where a historian will share equipment, letters and photographs of the Civil War.
Mr. Green received a $600 grant to sponsor a Vietnam Day which will include 3 presenters who will share stories, photos and equipment with students.
Ms. Jackson received a $300 grant to purchase 3 Instant Pots for her Beyond High School Course.
Mx. White received a $180 grant to purchase academic support items such as snacks, beverages and sensory seeking toys for students to use throughout the day.
Mr. Scott received a $358 grant to purchase 2 new 3D printers for the Engineering Department to benefit approximately 150 students per year.
Ms. Owens received a $625 grant to purchase 3D display plinths and battery operated lights to be installed on the black display boards.
